Your gut has been running your life.
This is how you take it back.

The Solid Gut System is a structured, restoration-oriented program designed to move you from chronic urgency, unpredictability, and fear — to calm, solid, predictable digestion that fades into the background of your life.

You already know something isn't working

You've tried the diets. You've tried the supplements.
You've sat in the doctor's office and been told to "manage it" or take another medication.

Maybe you've had some relief — briefly. But it never holds.

And meanwhile, your life keeps shrinking.
You map bathrooms before you go anywhere.
You cancel plans. You make excuses.
You eat less because you're afraid of what will happen if you eat more.
You carry a secret that most people around you don't even know about.

You're not lazy. You're not broken. You're not missing willpower.

You're missing the right steps, in the right order, at the right time.

Most approaches ask the wrong first question.

Traditional approaches to gut issues typically start with one question: How do we control or suppress this?

That question can produce relief. And relief matters.

But relief built on suppression requires constant maintenance — medications, rigid diets, supplement stacks that never end, vigilance that never lets up.

The Solid Gut System starts with a different question: What conditions need to be restored for this to calm and resolve on its own?

Both approaches may reduce symptoms.

Only one is organized around restoration as the primary goal.

This isn't anti-medicine.
Medications may help — especially in acute situations.
But the Solid Gut System is designed so that the goal is always to move toward a system that regulates itself, not one that depends on external management forever.

A clear path. Not another pile of information.

The Solid Gut System follows a natural progression.
These phases often overlap, but the direction is always the same: toward a life your gut no longer controls.

Relief

Relief is where healing begins — not where it ends.

Through structured nutrition and targeted supplementation, many people experience reduced urgency, calmer digestion, less inflammation, and a return of safety and control. This relief is real and valuable. But in SGS, relief is the opening — the space required for deeper healing to occur.

Repair

This is where healing stops being fragile.

Once the system is calmer, repair becomes possible. Repair focuses on restoring gut function and lining integrity, gut-brain communication, nervous system signaling, and metabolic support. Most people never repair these systems — which is why symptoms keep coming back.

Release

Release is the outcome many people don't realize they're aiming for — until it happens.

Release looks like leaving the house without thinking about bathrooms. Saying yes to plans without hesitation. Getting absorbed in something interesting and realizing later you never thought about your gut at all. Digestion fades into the background. Life moves to the foreground. This is the actual finish line.

Five critical elements. One system. Everything interlocks.

Most programs hand you a diet plan or a supplement list and call it done.
SGS works because it addresses the elements most programs miss entirely — and connects them so they compound.

These aren't random strategies.
They are the specific, interlocking conditions the body needs to move from chronic instability to lasting regulation. Your job isn't to track which element you're working on. Your job is to stack the actions. The system is designed so that consistent practice across all five compounds naturally into something your body hasn't had in a long time: restored function.

Element 1: Optimal Diet Design

"Finally know what to eat."

Not restriction. Not food ideology. A clear, personalized framework rooted in digestibility, metabolic support, and what your body can actually use. You stop guessing. You start eating with confidence

Element 2: Targeted Supplement Strategy

"What to take, when, and why."

Strategic. Temporary. Designed to calm digestion, support repair, and fill gaps — not to create another dependency. A core principle of SGS: supplement use should decrease as healing progresses.

Element 3: Mind-Body Mastery

"Fix the gut-brain miscommunication."

Chronic digestive issues aren't only digestive problems. Over time, urgency and diarrhea train the nervous system to expect danger. The gut and brain become wired to over-react — even when the original trigger is gone. SGS directly addresses this faulty wiring through visualization, EMDR-inspired techniques, nervous system regulation, and mindful eating practices. This is where many people who are "doing everything right" finally get unstuck.

Element 4: Circadian Alignment

"If you want R&R, you need S&S."

Relief and Repair require Sleep and Sunlight. Your body runs on a 24-hour internal clock that regulates digestive enzymes, gut lining repair, hormone production, and nervous system recovery. When that rhythm is disrupted, healing becomes fragile and inconsistent — no matter how good your diet is. Restoring circadian alignment means healing can happen on schedule, the way the body was designed.

Element 5: Environment Optimization

"Set up conditions so healing happens naturally."

SGS doesn't rely on willpower. It relies on structure. Environment Optimization means designing your surroundings and daily routines so that the right choices become the easy choices — and consistency stops depending on motivation. When the environment supports healing, it happens. When it doesn't, even the best intentions fall apart.

This system is for people who are done managing and
ready to resolve.

This is for you if:

  • You want more than symptom suppression
  • You're willing to engage in structured change
  • You care about long-term function and freedom
  • You want to stop thinking about your gut every day
  • You deal with bowel urgency, chronic or recurring diarrhea — with or without a diagnosis like Crohn's, Colitis, or IBS-D

This is not for you if:

  • You want a single pill or quick fix
  • You want someone else to handle the problem for you
  • You want relief without participation

Questions people ask before they start.

How is this different from what I've already tried?
Most approaches treat one piece of the problem — a diet, a supplement, a medication, a mindset practice. They may help for a while. They rarely hold because the other pieces are still missing.

The Solid Gut System is organized around a specific sequence — Relief, then Repair, then Release — and addresses nutrition, supplementation, gut-brain communication, and metabolic restoration together. Not as a pile of information, but as a structured path where each piece supports the next. Most people who come to SGS have tried hard. They haven't been missing effort. They've been missing the right steps, in the right order.
How long before I see results?
Relief can come early — sometimes within the first few weeks — as the initial nutrition and supplement strategy begins to calm the system. That's real and it matters. But SGS is designed around a 90-day arc for a reason. Relief is the beginning. Repair takes longer. Release — the point where digestion stops being the thing you think about — happens when the system has had time to actually stabilize, not just quiet down temporarily. Most people who have been dealing with this for years need more than a few weeks to unwind it. The 90-day structure exists to give the process the time it actually requires.
Do I need a diagnosis to join?
No. SGS is designed for people dealing with bowel urgency and chronic or recurring diarrhea — with or without a formal diagnosis like Crohn's, Colitis, or IBS-D. A diagnosis tells you what to call what's happening. It doesn't always tell you what to do about it. If chronic digestive urgency is running your life, this system was built for you.
What if I'm currently on medication?
SGS is not a replacement for medical care, and Dr. Troy works in a coaching capacity — not as your treating physician. Many people who go through this system are on medication when they start. The goal of SGS is to restore the conditions under which your body can regulate itself — which, over time, may reduce dependence on medication. But any decisions about medication should be made with your doctor. If you have questions about whether SGS is appropriate given your current situation, reach out before enrolling.
I've spent a lot of money on things that haven't worked. How do I know this is different?
That's a fair question — and it deserves a straight answer. SGS doesn't promise that nothing else will ever help. Some of what you've tried probably did help, at least briefly. The difference here isn't a magic ingredient. It's sequence and completeness. Most approaches address one or two pieces. SGS addresses all four — and in a specific order that allows each piece to support the next. If you've gotten relief before but it never held, the most likely reason is that relief was treated as the destination. In SGS, relief is just the opening.
Is there a community or group component?
There's no group call to attend, no forum to keep up with, and no Facebook group. This is intentional — and most people find it to be one of the things they appreciate most about the program. For people dealing with digestive urgency and health anxiety, group environments can quietly work against the healing process — increasing comparison, amplifying worry during normal setbacks, and creating a habit of seeking reassurance rather than building confidence. SGS is designed to calm your nervous system, not keep it engaged. You get a clear sequence, defined structure, and space to listen to your own body without the noise. That is the support that works for this kind of healing.
What if I start with Independent and later decide I want more support?
The full $700 you paid for the Independent path applies toward the Guided path. You will never pay twice for the same foundation. You're free to start independently, work through the system, and go deeper only if and when it feels right. The upgrade option is available during your course period and for six months after completion.
What does "coaching capacity" mean — and is this safe?
Dr. Troy works as a coach, not as your medical doctor. That means he can guide you through this system, support your process, and draw on over 20 years of clinical experience and 30+ years of personal experience with digestive issues — but he is not diagnosing or treating you in a medical sense. SGS is designed for people with chronic urgency and diarrhea who are stable enough to engage in a structured program. If you experience anything abnormal — fever, bleeding, severe pain, or prolonged lack of bowel movement — that is an emergency. Contact your gastroenterologist or seek immediate medical attention. Your safety is the first priority, always.

Built by someone who had to figure this out for himself.

Dr. Troy Willis is a Lifestyle Chiropractor with over 20 years of clinical experience. But the Solid Gut System didn't come from textbooks.
It came from decades of personal struggle — urgency and diarrhea starting in childhood and continuing into adulthood, long before a Crohn's disease diagnosis. Over those years, he tried elimination diets, supplements, medications, alternative therapies, and expert recommendations. Some things helped briefly. Most did not last. Many created more confusion than clarity.

What became clear over time was not a lack of effort — it was a lack of the right steps, applied in the right order, at the right time.

He calls himself "The Unfortunate Expert" — because everything in this system was earned the hard way.
"I have lived with poor digestive health and the debilitating effects that not being mentally, nutritionally, and physically fit has on family, career, and happiness. I can help people resolve those issues naturally and without the time, expense, and suffering I went through."
