The Hebrew Bible Decoded:
A Maimonidean Anthropological Approach
Ever wondered why so many myths from the Near East also appear in the Bible? Whether
you are a believer of the God of Abraham or just a curious skeptic, this course is for you.
Explore the ancient myths from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Canaan, and Persia and how they
relate to the Creation, Noah’s Flood, and more.

The Hebrew Bible is read by millions around the world, but few really understand what they are reading. This course will allow you to enter the world of Moses and the Prophets through an analysis of linguistics, anthropology, and archaeology.

There are few to no courses available to the public which introduce the Maimonidean approach to the Hebrew Bible. Most instructors transmit this knowledge orally to a select few.

In these 5 modules, you’ll gain an introductory understanding of how Moses Maimonides  approached the text of the Hebrew Bible.

This course implements the Orton-Gillingham Approach to learning, where you will learn with audio-visual tools, including maps, videos, and audio recordings. You can learn at your own pace and return to modules at your convenience. Each module will build on the previous one, with a review at the beginning and end of each lesson.
