Growing up in Wisconsin, I discovered my passion for theatre's transformative power early on, finding creative freedom and energy in live performance. My move to Oregon and membership with the Sowelu Theatre Ensemble from 1998 to 2004 were pivotal, as I honed my skills in Meisner and Viewpoints techniques and embraced a journey of body awareness and mindfulness through yoga and the Alexander technique.

 

With the Sowelu Prison Outreach and collaborations with various theatre projects, I witnessed theatre's profound impact on emotional intelligence and healing, reinforcing my belief in its power to transform lives. Touring internationally with solo shows like Fishing For My Father and The Centering, I connected with the dynamism of theatre festivals and the courage of artists worldwide.

 

As a Resident Artist at Artists Repertory Theatre from 2014 to 2022, I thrived in an artistic community while working on stage, film, and TV. Teaching private classes and working with diverse groups fueled my passion for education, leading to 11 seasons with The Actors Conservatory, where I supported aspiring actors' growth.

 

Currently, I'm furthering my journey by pursuing a Health and Life Coach Certification, set to complete in November 2025. Through teaching and coaching, I aspire to empower individuals to embrace their potential, offering tools for confidence and creative fulfillment. For me, acting is more than a profession—it's a calling to explore the limitless possibilities of being human.
