This Is My Blooming Season

This Is My Blooming Season

Scripture of the Day: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

Sis, pause for a moment. Look around you. Look at where you are today. Look at what you’ve survived. Look at the growth in you that you didn’t even realize was happening. This right here… this season… this moment in your life — it matters. Everything you have been through, every tear you have cried, every mistake you thought disqualified you, was a part of your becoming. It wasn’t meant to break you — it was meant to build you. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is a time and season for everything. There was a time for your wilderness. There was a season for your struggle. There was a chapter that looked like darkness. But sis, this is your season to BLOOM. This is your season to rise. This is your season to heal. This is your season to love yourself fully. To forgive yourself completely. To walk in peace, purpose, and power. God didn’t allow you to survive all that mess just to stay stuck in survival mode. He is shifting you from just existing to fully living. He is shifting your story from pain to purpose. This season is sacred. This season is about you becoming HER — the healed woman, the bold woman, the resilient woman, the unstoppable woman you were always destined to be. But here’s the truth — growth requires release. You cannot bloom holding on to what God is calling you to let go of. Old habits. Old thoughts. Old environments. Old identities. This season requires a new mindset, a new focus, and a new level of faith. Are you ready to walk boldly into your new season?

Reflection: What season of life do you feel like you are in right now? What is God calling you to release so you can fully bloom into the woman He created you to be?

Action Steps for Today: Write down what season you believe you are walking into. Give it a name — Healing, Peace, Freedom, Growth, or New Beginnings. Write a list titled “What I’m Leaving Behind” and another list titled “What I’m Walking Into.” Pray over both lists. Tear up or throw away the “Leaving Behind” list as a symbolic act of release.

Affirmation of the Day: This is my season to bloom. I am no longer stuck. I am no longer bound. I am walking boldly in the new thing God is doing in my life.

Mind Altering Step: Catch one negative thought today and refuse to let it live rent-free in your mind. When a thought comes that says, “You’ll never change,” respond out loud with “I AM CHANGING. I AM BLOOMING. I AM HEALED.” The more you talk back to the lie, the louder the truth becomes.

Sis, today is not just another Friday. Today is a new chapter in your story. You are blooming again. You are rising again. You are becoming HER. And the best part is — God is right there with you, watering every part of you that thought it could never grow. Be bold today. Be intentional. Be kind to yourself. But most importantly — keep blooming.

Renew Her Mind. Transform Her Life

Renew Her Mind. Transform Her Life
Renew Her Mind. Transform Her Life.

Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, today I open my heart and mind to You. I ask that You break every thought pattern in me that doesn’t come from You. Silence the lies I’ve believed for too long. Wash my mind in Your truth and lead me in a new way of thinking. Give me the strength to see myself through Your eyes. Heal my thoughts. Heal my heart. And transform my life from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Focus: Romans 12:2 (NIV) says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Devotional: Sis, if there’s one thing I’ve learned on my recovery journey, it’s this — healing starts in the mind. Long before my actions changed, my thoughts had to change. The enemy loves to attack us in our thoughts because if he can control the way we think, he can control the way we live. For so many years, I believed lies about who I was. I believed I wasn’t worthy. I believed I would always be broken. I believed my past disqualified me from ever living in purpose. But God stepped into my story and said, “Daughter, that is not who you are.” Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation happens when our minds are renewed. That means the way I used to think — survival mode, fear, guilt, shame, hopelessness — all of that had to go. God began to show me that I am not my mistakes. I am not my addiction. I am not my trauma. I am not my past. I am who HE says I am — chosen, healed, loved, and made new. And sis, so are you. Recovery is not just about behavior modification — it’s about identity transformation. It’s about allowing God to shift your mindset from surviving to thriving, from broken to whole, from lost to found. You don’t have to think like the old you anymore. You don’t have to believe what the world or your past has said about you. You can be free. You can think differently. You can walk differently. Because the woman God is raising up in you is powerful, bold, resilient, and renewed.

Reflection: What thoughts have you been thinking about yourself that God never said about you? Are those thoughts building you or breaking you? Are they leading you closer to healing or keeping you stuck in cycles?

Journal Prompt: Write a letter to your mind. Yes, your mind. Thank it for protecting you in survival mode. But now release it from every lie, every negative pattern, and every old belief. Speak life over your mind and invite God to lead your thoughts from this day forward.

Application Steps: Spend time today writing down the top 3 lies you’ve believed about yourself. Then go to God’s Word and find 3 truths that cancel out those lies. Write them where you can see them every day. Speak them over yourself in the morning and before bed. Guard your mind like your life depends on it — because sis, it does. Your mindset determines your future.

Affirmation of the Day: My mind is powerful. My thoughts are being renewed daily. I no longer think like I used to. I no longer believe lies about myself. I think thoughts of healing, peace, purpose, and truth. God is transforming me from the inside out.

Closing Prayer: Father, today I surrender my thoughts to You. I no longer want to live bound by negative thinking, old patterns, or lies from my past. Create in me a new mind, a renewed mind, a healed mind. Help me to think higher, speak life, and believe in who You created me to be. I declare that I have the mind of Christ. I will not conform to this world, but I will be transformed daily by Your Word, Your truth, and Your love. Thank You for loving me enough to renew me completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
