WElcome to Breath of life Christian BIrthworkers association

An open network and support group of Christian Birth workers to encourage, support, uplift, and strategize ways to better serve our communities!

OUR MISSION

Breath of Life Christian Birthworkers Association aims to empower birthing women, their families, and birth workers through Faith, Truth, Love, and Community. We believe that every birth is a sacred journey, and through Christ-centered support, education, and compassion, we foster spaces where families feel seen, heard, and strengthened. Our mission is to uplift and equip birth workers while guiding families toward holistic, faith-rooted care that honors both the physical and spiritual aspects of birth.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to glorify God through birth work; honoring Him in every mother we serve, every family we support, and every life we welcome, while reflecting His love, grace, and truth in the sacred journey of birth.
Our Core Values and Beliefs
Triune God
God is a Triune Being, one God in three separate but unique persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Salvation
Yeshua/Jesus is the only way to salvation for all people, by faith through grace, with the born-again experience of repenting from sins and confessing that He is Lord and Savior.

The Holy Spirit
When a person becomes born-again, the Holy Spirit fills that person with the power and presence of God to transform him or her to grow and advance the Kingdom of God through the fruit of the Spirit.

The Word of God
Yeshua/Jesus is the Word of God in flesh, and the written scriptures are the fully inspired Words of God. Therefore, they are infallible and eternal.

Unity of Fellowship
If it is a doctrine, practice, or belief that is not central to the salvation of the believer, then we will not break fellowship over these issues. Some examples could include eschatology (end times), glossolalia (speaking in tongues), format of baptism, age or shape of the earth, etc. We seek to spread the glory and fame of Yeshua/Jesus by advancing His Kingdom, even though we often come from different denominational backgrounds.

God’s Perfect Design in Creation
We believe all people are created in the image of God, therefore all people deserve to be treated with love, dignity, kindness, and compassion. However, we also believe in the original design of how each individual has been designed, such as in regards to the gender God created them to be. Accordingly, we stand for God’s original design for the marriage family unit.

Celebration of Ethnic & Racial Diversity
We believe in heaven, every tongue, every tribe, and every nation there will worship Jesus for all eternity. Therefore, we desire to celebrate the same diversity here on earth. Whereas some cultural practices from all around the world can lead a person away from faith in Yeshua/Jesus, other practices are inherently good and add to our relationship with God. We always seek to have discernment in deciphering the difference between the two. We also acknowledge the reality that certain ethnicities and racial backgrounds have historically experienced and continue to experience racial injustice. We seek to bring awareness, healing, and reconciliation in these areas.

Political Content
Whereas we should be very active and engaged as citizens to advocate for justice and righteous systems with political involvement, we must hold fast to the principle that the Kingdom of God supersedes any and all political systems.

Promotion of Natural Medicine
Whereas there are times and circumstances where traditional medical methods are needed for very high risk or complicated situations, we strongly promote learning and growing in the knowledge and practice of leaning towards God’s creation of plants and herbs for natural healing.
