Candace is a daughter of the Most High, the wife of a veteran, a homeschooling mother, and mama to three wonderful children. Her calling to doula work was deeply shaped through her own birth experiences, including two successful VBACs supported by her husband and a trusted doula. Those journeys ignited a profound desire to walk alongside women with the same care, advocacy, and encouragement she once received.
At the heart of her doula practice is a passion for nurturing the whole person, spirit, soul, and body, as clients navigate the many layers of their unique perinatal journeys. Her approach is informed by a diverse background that includes Biblical studies, international missions, early childhood development and education, purchasing and contracting, and years of hosting and catering private events. Each experience has cultivated a servant’s posture and a deep love for supporting women with intention and grace.
Outside of her work, she delights in nature, art, travel, thrifting, and carving out meaningful time with her husband. She loves learning through podcasts and audiobooks, listening to music, cooking and eating like a true foodie, laughing often, spending time with children, discovering cozy places to gather, and being in church, especially on Communion Sunday. Above all, she desires to continually grow as a visible reflection of God’s grace, serving her family, community, and the Kingdom with diligence, peace, and presence.
