Divine Protection

Covered By His Wings

Covered By His Wings
Day 2 – Monday, July 21, 2025

Covered By His Wings

Scripture: “He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” — Psalm 91:4 (NLT)

Morning Devotional: When God Covers You, You Are Untouchable

Sis, there is no safer place than under the wings of God.

Not under a roof.
Not behind a locked door.
Not in a gated community.
Not even in your own strength.

The safest, most secure, most peaceful place you can be—is tucked beneath the wings of the Almighty.

When God says He will cover you with His feathers and shelter you under His wings, He is inviting you into intimacy. This is not a distant protection—this is personal, close, tender, and strong. It’s the image of a mother bird drawing her babies under her wings—not just to shield them, but to hold them.

But What Does That Really Mean?

Being “covered by His wings” means:
  • You are not out here on your own.
  • You have a refuge when life becomes too much.
  • God is not watching you suffer from afar—He is wrapping Himself around you.

Those wings represent His nearness, His comfort, and His promise to protect and sustain you through every storm, every season, every spiritual battle.
When the trauma tries to break you, He says, “Come here, daughter—let Me hold you.”
When fear tries to paralyze you, He says, “You’re still safe. I’ve got you.”
When the voices of shame and pain scream louder than your peace, He whispers, “You’re still mine. I’m covering you.”

This is His Promise to You:

“His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

That means God doesn’t break His word. He doesn’t forget. He doesn’t change His mind.
If He said He’ll cover you—He will.
If He said He’ll shelter you—He will.
If He said He’s your armor—then nothing can pierce what He’s covering.

How Can You Fully Trust That You’re Covered?
  1. Because He’s done it before. Think back—how many times did He protect you and you didn’t even realize it until later? That was His covering.
  2. Because His Word says so. Faith comes by hearing the Word. And Psalm 91 wasn’t written by accident.
  3. Because your story didn’t end when the enemy tried to end you. If you’re still here—it’s because you were covered.
  4. Because He’s a good, good Father. No good father leaves his daughter unprotected.
To the Woman Who Feels Exposed…

Maybe you’ve been through so much that it’s hard to believe anyone’s got you.
Maybe you’ve always had to defend yourself, survive on your own, and stay ready to fight.
But God says today: “Daughter, I’ve got you now. You don’t have to fight to be protected. Come under My wings and rest.”

This is not just survival. This is divine security.

Spiritual Awareness Activation:

Say this out loud with faith:
“I am covered. I am safe. I am sheltered by the wings of the Almighty. I rest in His promises and walk in His protection.”
Prayer:

Father, thank You for being my refuge and my covering. When the world feels too loud and life feels too heavy, draw me into the shelter of Your wings. Help me to trust You completely, to rest in Your arms, and to remember that You’ve never let me go. Teach me to stay close—close enough to feel Your heartbeat, close enough to rest without fear. I surrender every fear, every battle, and every wound to You. Keep me under Your wing, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Affirmation of the Day:

“I am not exposed. I am not alone. I am covered by the wings of my Father, and His promises are my protection.”

Your Are Not Alone- You Are Protected

Your Are Not Alone- You Are Protected
Day 1 – Sunday, July 20, 2025

You Are Not Alone – You Are Protected

Scripture: “For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.” — Psalm 91:11 (NLT)

Devotional: You Are Held by the Unseen Hand of God

Sis, before the battle began, the protection was already in place.
Before the heartbreak, before the betrayal, before the trauma, before the abuse—God already had you covered.

Let me remind you: You are not alone. You are not exposed. You are not forgotten.
You are covered—divinely, powerfully, intentionally—by the Most High God.

What Is Divine Protection?

Divine protection is not man-made. It’s not physical security. It’s not luck.
Divine protection is the supernatural covering of God that shields your soul, guards your purpose, and blocks what was meant to destroy you.

It means angels are assigned to you, even when you don’t feel them.
It means the attacks may form, but they will not prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
It means you’re walking through the fire, but not getting burned (Isaiah 43:2).
It means what should’ve taken you out, didn’t—and won’t—because God said, “Not her.”

What Does It Mean to Be Divinely Protected?

It means:
  • You’re not fighting alone.
  • You’re not surviving by chance.
  • You’re not still here because of your own strength.

It means the King of Glory has stationed His army around you, and He Himself walks with you through every valley, every trial, every storm.

Divine protection means you are under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1)—not just near Him, but hidden in Him. Your life is not unguarded—it is watched over, every second, by the all-seeing, all-powerful, all-loving God.

How Do You Walk in Divine Protection?
  1. Stay in His Presence. Don’t just visit God—dwell in Him. Worship, pray, abide. His presence is your refuge.
  2. Walk in Obedience. God’s protection follows His order. Disobedience opens doors; obedience keeps you under His wing.
  3. Stay Spiritually Aware. Ask God to open your spiritual eyes. There’s more happening in the unseen than you know.
  4. Declare His Promises. Speak the Word over your life, your mind, your children, your destiny. God’s Word is your armor.
How Do You Embrace It?

You embrace divine protection by letting go of fear. You surrender control. You stop trying to be your own protector and let God be your Defender. You stop asking “Why did this happen?” and start declaring, “But God kept me.”
You stop just surviving—and start thriving under the shield of God’s mercy and might.

Spiritual Awareness Activation:

Right now, breathe and say this out loud:
“I am not alone. I am not unguarded. I am not afraid. I am divinely protected—body, mind, spirit, and destiny. God is my refuge, and His angels are watching over me.”

Sis, when you walk into that job, that court date, that relationship, that recovery group—walk like Heaven is with you. Because it is.

Prayer:

Father, I thank You that I am not defenseless. I thank You that when the world tried to destroy me, You put angels around me. I thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper—not because I’m strong, but because You are my Shield. Teach me to recognize Your hand even when I can’t trace Your moves. Strengthen my faith to trust Your covering, even when the storm rages. I declare that I am hidden in You, safe in You, and forever protected by You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Affirmation of the Day:

“I walk in divine protection. I live under Heaven’s covering. No weapon will win. I am surrounded by angels. I am covered by God Himself.”

My Journey To Resilience And Redemption

Hey Resilient Woman,

My name is Dashonia Marie, and I am a woman who has experienced the depths of pain, addiction, and trauma—but also the transformative power of God’s grace and healing. My life is a testimony of how surrendering to God can bring renewal and restoration, no matter how broken the pieces may seem.

For years, I struggled with addiction, loss, and the scars of past trauma, but through faith and determination, I found freedom and purpose. Today, I dedicate my life to helping other women discover that same freedom. Through Encouraging Her Resilience, I strive to create resources that inspire hope, build resilience, and guide women on their journey to recovery—just as I’ve been guided on mine.

I believe healing is possible for every woman, no matter her story. My mission is to provide faith-based tools and encouragement to help women see their worth, embrace God’s promises, and walk boldly into the life He has planned for them. I am living proof that God can take our brokenness and turn it into something beautiful, and it is my heart’s calling to walk alongside others as they step into their own transformation.
