Day 9: Protection & Safety
Scripture Focus:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?" — Psalm 27:1 (NLT)
"The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?" — Psalm 27:1 (NLT)
Sis, let’s talk about the world we’re living in right now.
Every time we turn on the news, devastation is staring us in the face. Mass shootings are happening in schools, grocery stores, malls, and churches — places that should feel safe. Women are being trafficked, children are going missing, neighborhoods are plagued with gun violence, and racism still puts innocent lives in danger. Wars are raging overseas, natural disasters are wiping out entire cities, and crime rates are climbing in our communities.
And if we’re being honest, sometimes fear feels closer than we want to admit. We worry when our children leave the house. We clutch the steering wheel a little tighter on the road. We check the locks on the doors more than once at night. The weight of wondering, “Am I safe? Are my kids safe?” can feel overwhelming.
But Sis, here is the truth: God is our refuge, our fortress, and our protector. Evil may be present in this world, but it does not have the final say.
Scripture reminds us in Psalm 91:4, “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”
That means:
- When bullets fly, His covering still stands.
- When danger lurks, His angels are on guard.
- When fear grips your heart, His peace can steady your spirit.
God’s protection doesn’t mean trouble will never come, but it does mean no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). It means you can walk out of your house with courage because heaven’s army walks with you. It means your children are not just in your care — they are in His hands.
Prayer for Protection & Safety
Father God,
We come boldly before You today, crying out for protection in a world that feels so uncertain. Lord, You see the mass shootings, the violence, the trafficking, the racism, the disasters, and the evil that surrounds us — but You also see every daughter of Yours who refuses to give up hope.
Father, we place ourselves, our children, and our homes under Your covering. Order Your angels to encamp around us day and night (Psalm 91:11). Surround our cars on the highways, surround our children in their classrooms, surround us in the grocery stores, workplaces, and everywhere our feet step.
Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over every woman reading this. Cancel every assignment of the enemy. Expose every hidden danger before it reaches us. Build a hedge of protection around our lives that no evil can penetrate.
We declare: we are blessed in the city and blessed in the field, blessed coming in and blessed going out (Deuteronomy 28:6). We will not be ruled by fear. We will not be paralyzed by what we see on the news. We will walk with confidence, knowing that our fortress, our refuge, and our safety is in You.
Lord, remind every woman today that she is not walking alone. Heaven is backing her. Angels are guarding her. And You, Almighty God, are fighting for her.
We give You all glory, honor, and praise.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Amen.
✨ Sis, the world may feel dangerous — but you are not defenseless. Stay prayed up. Stay covered. And remember: you are protected by the God who never sleeps, never slumbers, and never leaves your side.

Day 8: Strength for Single Mothers
Scripture Focus:
"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)
Sis, today we are stopping to honor the women who are fighting battles that most people never see — our single mothers.
As much as we wish every child could grow up with two loving parents in the home, that is not always the reality. Many of us were raised by a single mother, and many of us are single mothers right now — doing the work of two parents, carrying loads that were never meant to be carried alone.
Being a single mother is not just a title — it’s a sacrifice.
It’s staying up late at night after everyone is asleep, crying silently because you don’t know how you’re going to make ends meet.
It’s dragging yourself out of bed before the sun comes up because someone has to get the kids to school, pack the lunches, go to work, and keep everything together.
It’s working two jobs and still praying over the bills.
It’s missing out on things for yourself so your children never have to feel the lack.
It’s fighting through your own heartbreak, trauma, and exhaustion — and still showing up every single day.

It’s working two jobs and still praying over the bills.
It’s missing out on things for yourself so your children never have to feel the lack.
It’s fighting through your own heartbreak, trauma, and exhaustion — and still showing up every single day.
And let’s not forget the mother who isn’t technically single, but feels like she is because she is emotionally abandoned in her relationship or marriage. She carries the weight of parenting alone, prays alone, and cries herself to sleep while her partner remains distant. Sis, this blog is for you, too.
Today, we say: You are doing a good job.
Your children see more than you think. God sees every tear you cry, every sacrifice you make, every meal you skip so they can eat, every prayer you whisper when you think no one is listening.
Your children see more than you think. God sees every tear you cry, every sacrifice you make, every meal you skip so they can eat, every prayer you whisper when you think no one is listening.
Psalm 56:8 says, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book."
You are not just surviving — you are sowing seeds of strength and faith into your children’s future. You may feel unseen, but heaven sees you. You may feel weak, but God says His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Prayer for Strength for Single Mothers
Father God,
Today we lift up every single mother reading this prayer. Lord, You see the late nights, the early mornings, the worries, the exhaustion, and the hidden battles no one else knows about.
Father, remind her today that she is not forgotten. Remind her that You are with her in the car rides, in the sleepless nights, and in the tears she cries quietly. You are her strength, her provider, and her defender.
Lord, open doors of provision. Bless her finances. Provide for her home. Give her wisdom to raise her children in Your ways, and surround her with a community that will help carry the load. Break every spirit of loneliness, fear, and shame that tries to overwhelm her. Replace it with peace, joy, and unshakable faith.
For the woman who feels like she is single in her marriage — strengthen her heart, soften the heart of her spouse, and restore unity in her home.
We declare that her children will rise up and call her blessed (Proverbs 31:28). We declare that she will not grow weary in doing good, because at the right time she will reap a harvest (Galatians 6:9). We declare that she will walk in Your strength, that she will not faint, and that she will know she is not raising her children alone — Heaven is backing her up.
Lord, fill her with fresh strength today. Let her feel Your arms holding her up when she feels like falling. Let her know that You are proud of her, that You see her, and that You are faithful to carry her and her children through.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
Amen.

Day 7: Purpose & Calling
Scripture Focus:
"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." — Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." — Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
Sis, stop and let that sink in — you are God’s masterpiece. Not a second draft. Not an afterthought. A masterpiece — uniquely designed, intricately crafted, intentionally set apart for something only YOU can do.
The truth is, many of us have been walking through life without ever asking God why we’re here. We wake up, we go to work, we take care of our kids, we put out fires every single day — and yet deep inside, we feel empty, unfulfilled, like there must be more. And there is.
God has a calling over your life that was written before the foundation of the world. Your past doesn’t cancel it. Your pain doesn’t erase it. Your mistakes don’t disqualify you. In fact, those very things are often the building blocks of your calling.
You’ve been through too much for your story not to matter.
You’ve cried too many tears for your pain not to have a purpose.
You’ve survived too many battles for your life not to carry an assignment from heaven.
You’ve cried too many tears for your pain not to have a purpose.
You’ve survived too many battles for your life not to carry an assignment from heaven.
But here’s the key — you will never discover your purpose outside of God’s presence. Purpose is not found by hustling harder, chasing success, or trying to prove yourself. Purpose is revealed when you surrender.
Proverbs 3:5–6 says:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take."
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take."
Sis, this means letting go of control. It means saying, “God, here’s my pain, my gifts, my dreams, and my fears — do with them whatever You want.” It means letting Him write the story, even when you don’t understand every chapter.
Walking in purpose doesn’t mean life will suddenly be easy — but it does mean it will be meaningful. It means your life will start to point people back to Jesus. It means even your broken pieces will become someone else’s roadmap to freedom.
And if you’ve ever felt like it’s too late for you — hear this: it is never too late with God. Moses was 80 when he led the Israelites out of Egypt. Sarah was 90 when she gave birth to the child of promise. Your timeline might look different than you expected, but God’s timing is still perfect.
Prayer for Purpose & Calling
Father God,
I thank You for every woman reading this right now. You have called her. You have chosen her. You have written her name on the palm of Your hand. Lord, she is not an accident — she is Your masterpiece, created with divine intention.
Today we repent for the times we ran from Your calling, settled for less, or let fear silence us. Today we surrender it all — our plans, our pain, our pride, and our past — and we give You permission to take over.
Lord, open her ears to hear Your voice more clearly. Reveal the gifts You’ve placed inside of her. Show her how every battle, every trial, and every tear was shaping her for this very moment. Give her holy boldness to say YES to Your will, even when it scares her.
We declare that fear will not hold her back, doubt will not paralyze her, and the enemy will not distract her from the work You created her to do.
Strengthen her steps, align her heart, and let her walk with confidence into the destiny You wrote for her.
Strengthen her steps, align her heart, and let her walk with confidence into the destiny You wrote for her.
Today we declare by faith: I will live with intention. I will walk in obedience. I will fulfill every good work God has called me to do — for His glory and for the good of others.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Amen.

Day 6: Emotional Peace – God, the Restorer of Your Mind
Focus Scripture:
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you.” — Isaiah 26:3 (NLT)
Sis, mental health battles are some of the fiercest spiritual wars you will ever face. Depression feels like a fog that never lifts. Anxiety can hold your chest so tight you can’t breathe. Fear whispers that you will never be enough. And for some of us, those voices in our minds scream louder than God’s promises — telling us that we are broken beyond repair, that we will never make it, that we are one step away from losing everything.
I know, because that was my reality.
I had been clean for a year, working on my recovery, walking with Christ, and preparing to open my very first recovery home. On the outside, everything looked like victory. But then the enemy came for my mind.
It started with subtle whispers — “You’re not good enough. You’ll fail. This home will turn into a crack house. You’ll relapse.” Then it got louder. Voices telling me I’d lose everything, that I would end up homeless, that I would be unrecognizable and swallowed by my old life. I could not sleep. I could not eat. I was 7 days away from my grand opening — and instead of celebrating, I was in a war zone inside my head.
Sis, the attacks were so intense that I thought I would lose my mind. But here’s what changed everything — I cried out to God with everything in me. I prayed like my life depended on it. I worshiped through my tears. I reminded God of His promises and begged Him to deliver me.
And He did.
I will never forget the moment peace entered the room. It was as if heaven itself fought for me. The voices went silent. The heaviness lifted. My thoughts became clear. I got up off the floor, strengthened, restored, and free — not by my own power, but by the power of the living God. And today, 7 years later, I can boldly say: God healed my mind.
Sis, this is the same God who wants to deliver you. He is the God who restores sanity, breaks strongholds, and silences the voice of the enemy. Depression must bow to His name. Anxiety must bow. Schizophrenia, PTSD, fear — they must bow.
Your mind does not belong to the enemy — it belongs to God. You have the authority to take back your thoughts, silence every lie, and live in peace.
Bold Prayer for Mental Deliverance:
Father God, we come before You as daughters who refuse to stay bound. Lord, You see every woman who is reading this — You see her fear, her anxiety, her racing thoughts, her sleepless nights. You see the voices that torment her, the darkness that tries to overtake her, the weight that feels too heavy to carry.
Right now, in the name of Jesus, we speak peace over her mind. We command every lying voice of the enemy to be silenced. We plead the blood of Jesus over her thoughts, over her emotions, over her entire being. Lord, Your Word says You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) — so we claim that sound mind right now.
Break every chain of mental torment. Uproot every spirit of fear, trauma, and confusion. Flood her heart with Your presence and remind her that she is not alone. Restore her joy. Restore her strength. Restore her confidence to step fully into the calling You have placed on her life.
We declare that her mind is free, her thoughts are anchored in Christ, and her future will not be dictated by the lies of the enemy. She will live in peace, walk in victory, and testify of Your power.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection & Action Step:
Take a piece of paper and write down every thought that has been tormenting you. Next to each one, write a scripture of truth that defeats it — for example, next to “I’ll never be free,” write John 8:36: “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” Then declare out loud:
“I have the mind of Christ. I am not my diagnosis. I am healed, restored, and delivered. My mind is at peace because my God has set me free.”

Day 5: Recovery & Deliverance
"This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s." — 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NLT)
Sis, this is not just another devotional — this is a battle cry.
Today is for the woman who is in a fight for her very soul. For the woman who is tired of carrying chains that were never meant to be hers. For the woman who is standing on the edge of giving up — but something inside of her refuses to quit.
Recovery is not just about getting clean. It is about walking out of the grave and refusing to go back.
Deliverance is not just about saying you’re free — it’s about living free, thinking free, walking free, and never letting the enemy drag you back into bondage.
Some of us are fighting addiction — pills, alcohol, weed, meth, sex, gambling.
Some of us are fighting battles that look different — depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety that keeps us up at night, anger that destroys everything in its path, unforgiveness that eats away at us.
Some of us are trying to recover from years of trauma — abuse, neglect, rejection, betrayal, heartbreak — and the scars still burn.
But here is the truth: YOU ARE STILL HERE.
If the enemy could have destroyed you, he would have — but God kept you alive because there is still purpose in you.
And today, God is saying:
"Daughter, stop fighting this battle on your own. Stop carrying what I already died to set you free from. This battle is not yours — it is Mine."
"Daughter, stop fighting this battle on your own. Stop carrying what I already died to set you free from. This battle is not yours — it is Mine."
This is not the time to give up. This is not the time to go back. This is the time to surrender and let God finish what He started in you.
His Word declares:
- “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.” (Luke 4:18)
- “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” (John 8:36)
- “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
Sis, deliverance is yours. Freedom is yours. Healing is yours. You don’t have to fight alone — God is fighting for you right now.
Let today be the day you lay it all down — the shame, the guilt, the cravings, the fear, the anger — and trust that the same God who brought you this far will bring you all the way through.
Chain-Breaking Prayer for Recovery & Deliverance
Father God,
We come before You with holy desperation today. Lord, we are not here for empty words — we are here for freedom.
Father, You see every woman reading this prayer. You see her battles. You see her late-night tears. You see the cravings, the triggers, the moments she almost gave up — and You are still calling her by name.
Right now, in the name of Jesus, we break every chain that has tried to hold her captive.
Chains of addiction — be broken.
Chains of depression — be broken.
Chains of fear and anxiety — be broken.
Chains of shame and guilt — be broken.
Chains of toxic relationships and generational curses — be broken.
Chains of addiction — be broken.
Chains of depression — be broken.
Chains of fear and anxiety — be broken.
Chains of shame and guilt — be broken.
Chains of toxic relationships and generational curses — be broken.
Lord, release Your delivering power over every heart right now. Flood every mind with Your peace. Silence every voice of the enemy. Tear down every stronghold that has been built up over years of pain.
Restore what was stolen by the enemy — restore her joy, her dignity, her confidence, her voice. Restore families that were torn apart. Restore dreams that were buried. Restore purpose that was lost.
Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 3:17 that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So fill every woman with Your Spirit right now until freedom overflows.
Lord, we declare that we will not go back to what You have delivered us from. We will not live in fear of relapse. We will not let shame keep us silent. We will walk boldly as daughters of the King, clothed in righteousness and armed with Your Word.
We prophesy over our future: We are free. We are delivered. We are healed. We are whole.
We thank You now for the testimonies that will come from this very moment.
In the matchless name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
Amen.
Reflection & Journal Prompt
Write down the area where the enemy has tried to keep you bound the longest. Pray over it with boldness and declare this out loud:
"This battle is not mine. It belongs to the Lord. I am free. I am delivered. And I will walk in victory for the rest of my life."
