As the year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being part of the TV community. Your trust in our coaching, training and readership in our blogs inspires us every day.
The holiday season often brings both joy and challenges; from maintaining healthy habits during festive gatherings to managing the added stress of a busy calendar. Remember to take care of yourself during this time. The greatest gift you can give yourself is a moment of pause and attention to your wellbeing.
A few simple tips for the holidays:
- Start your day with a glass of water
- Take short walks after big meals
- Put a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into a glass of water, to reduce the glucose reaction of sweets (glucose goddess)
- Get outside for natural light, especially in the morning
- Walk barefoot in the grass and ground yourself for at least 20 minutes
- Prioritize sleep even during busy times
- Practice gratitude for the small moments for at least 5 things
- Manage your thinking; you are in charge of choosing your thoughts, reactions and interpretations, no one else is
- Stop blaming others and take responsibility
- Be nice to retail and wait staff over the holidays
From all of us at Transformative Visions, we wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, healthy, and joy-filled holiday season.
With gratitude,
Sue
