Refined, Not Destroyed
DAY 5 – REFINED, NOT DESTROYED

Scripture Focus: Job 23:10 (NIV)
“But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.”

This is it, sis.

Day 5.
The final day.
The finish line.
And the beginning of your becoming.

You didn’t walk through these five days by accident.
You didn’t press through the fire for nothing.
You didn’t survive just to go back to who you were.

You are not destroyed—you are refined.

God Didn’t Let the Fire Take You—He Used It to Reveal You

There’s something dangerous about a woman who makes it through what should’ve killed her.
And you, sis? You’ve made it.
Through the trauma.
Through the addiction.
Through the abuse.
Through the silence.
Through the self-doubt.
Through the fire.

But the fire didn’t take you out.
It took off everything that wasn’t you.
  • It burned away the lies.
  • It broke the chains.
  • It exposed the wounds you were hiding.
  • It melted the masks you were wearing.
  • And it gave birth to a woman who is fearless, focused, and full of fire.
You’re Not Coming Out Ashy—You’re Coming Out Anointed

Let’s be clear.

You are not emerging from this as a victim.
You are not crawling out with your head low.
You are stepping out crowned in oil and covered in glory.

You are the woman hell hoped wouldn’t recover.
But what hell didn’t know is…
the fire was never your end—it was your awakening.

God didn’t just bring you through the flames—He reintroduced you to yourself in the middle of them.

To the Woman of
Encouraging Her Resilience

You’ve spent years carrying other people’s pain.
You’ve mothered out of brokenness.
You’ve ministered while bleeding.
You’ve shown up when you had nothing left.
You’ve shouted with a shattered soul.
You’ve smiled while secretly sinking.

But now—you rise.

Not just because the fire is over,
But because the fire finally revealed the YOU that can no longer be hidden.

You are gold.
Refined.
Risen.
Resurrected.
And ready for everything God has been preparing you for.

You’ve Been Tested. But You’ve Also Been Trusted.

God trusted you with the fire.
Not because you were perfect.
But because He knew there was something unbreakable in you.

You didn’t give up.
You didn’t cave in.
You didn’t bow.
And now you come forth—not barely breathing, but roaring like a daughter who knows who she is.

 DAY 5 CHALLENGE:

Write your resurrection.

Not your trauma.
Not your timeline.
Not your pain.

Write your resurrection story—in real time.

Start with:
“This is who I became because of the fire…”
Then let your words prophesy the woman you’ve become.

 FINAL DECLARATION:

“I am not destroyed.
I am refined.
I am the proof that the fire didn’t win.
I am the evidence of God’s mercy and might.
What was sent to kill me only uncovered me.
I am not fragile—I am fire-tested.
I am not broken—I am rebuilt.
I didn’t just make it through—I’ve been made NEW.
I am gold. I am chosen. I am anointed.
And I will never bow again.”
Let this be the day you stop surviving.
And start walking like the weapon the fire produced.

You are not the same.
You are Refined. Not destroyed.

My Journey To Resilience And Redemption

Hey Resilient Woman,

My name is Dashonia Marie, and I am a woman who has experienced the depths of pain, addiction, and trauma—but also the transformative power of God’s grace and healing. My life is a testimony of how surrendering to God can bring renewal and restoration, no matter how broken the pieces may seem.

For years, I struggled with addiction, loss, and the scars of past trauma, but through faith and determination, I found freedom and purpose. Today, I dedicate my life to helping other women discover that same freedom. Through Encouraging Her Resilience, I strive to create resources that inspire hope, build resilience, and guide women on their journey to recovery—just as I’ve been guided on mine.

I believe healing is possible for every woman, no matter her story. My mission is to provide faith-based tools and encouragement to help women see their worth, embrace God’s promises, and walk boldly into the life He has planned for them. I am living proof that God can take our brokenness and turn it into something beautiful, and it is my heart’s calling to walk alongside others as they step into their own transformation.
