Devotional
Sis, today we are going straight to the heart — because so many of us are carrying silent heartbreak.
Some of us are still putting on smiles while our marriages are falling apart behind closed doors.
Some of us are sleeping in the same bed with someone who feels like a stranger.
Some of us are battling constant arguments, disrespect, neglect, and betrayal — and it’s draining the very life out of us.
Some of us are sleeping in the same bed with someone who feels like a stranger.
Some of us are battling constant arguments, disrespect, neglect, and betrayal — and it’s draining the very life out of us.
For some, the pain is betrayal:
- You’ve been lied to, lied on, or cheated on.
- You’ve been left feeling invisible, unloved, and unworthy.
- You’ve given your all, and it feels like it still wasn’t enough.
For others, it’s disappointment:
- The marriage you prayed for feels nothing like what you dreamed.
- The relationship you hoped would last has left you broken.
- You are single, widowed, divorced — wondering if love will ever find you again.
Sis, this is heavy. And it’s okay to say, “God, this hurts.”
But here’s the truth we are standing on today: God is not only close to the brokenhearted — He specializes in healing them. He is the God who restores what is shattered. He is the God who breathes life into what feels dead.
Even if your marriage feels too far gone — He can still work.
Even if trust feels impossible — He can rebuild it.
Even if love feels cold — He can set it on fire again.
Even if trust feels impossible — He can rebuild it.
Even if love feels cold — He can set it on fire again.
And if restoration is not His will, He can restore you. He can give you peace to release what was never meant for you, and strength to stand on your worth.
Today, we are laying every broken marriage, every broken relationship, and every broken heart at the feet of Jesus. We are saying, “Lord, we cannot fix this — but You can.”
Bold Prayer Focus: Marriages & Relationships
Heavenly Father,
Today we come before You with open hearts and open wounds. Lord, some of us are barely holding on in our marriages and relationships. Some of us are tired of pretending everything is fine when it’s not. Some of us are weary from being hurt, lied to, neglected, or betrayed.
Father, You see every tear we’ve cried in the midnight hour. You know the pain we can’t put into words. Your Word says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed” (Psalm 34:18). Rescue us, Lord. Meet us in our pain right now.
We pray over every marriage on the edge of divorce. Heal what is broken, Lord. Tear down walls of pride, unforgiveness, and bitterness. Rekindle love where it has died. Bring back respect, communication, and faithfulness.
We pray for every woman who has been cheated on, betrayed, or lied to — heal her heart and remind her that she is still chosen, still loved, still worthy.
Lord, we cancel every plan of the enemy to destroy our marriages and relationships. We declare that what the enemy meant for evil, You will turn for good. We break every generational curse of divorce, adultery, abuse, and broken homes. We declare a new legacy — one of love, faithfulness, and wholeness.
Father, for the women who are single, separated, or divorced, remind them that their story is not over. Heal their hearts from rejection. Teach them to wait on You. Restore their joy and show them that their worth is not tied to a relationship status.
And Father, heal us. Make us whole. Teach us to love like You love — with grace, forgiveness, and wisdom. Give us discernment to know when to fight for restoration and when to let go.
Today, we surrender every marriage, every relationship, and every broken heart to You. Do what only You can do, Lord — heal, restore, redeem, and make all things new.
In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen.
Amen.
