I have finally got another podcast finished! I confess that these episodes are taking a little more time than I had planned for, but I am still pushing ahead! This episode is full of mini-date ideas for when you don’t have time to date.

Are you in a super-busy season of life? Do you find it hard to find time for quality time with your partner? Does the idea of a weekly date sound like a far-flung fantasy? By the end of a busy week, do you feel like a movie on Netflix is all you can handle? Well, you are not doomed for a boring marriage, even if you have no time for dating right now. When you can’t date very often (or at all) mini-dates are an excellent solution. Find fifteen minute pockets of time throughout your week and use them to connect with your spouse. In this podcast, you will find awesome ideas for mini-dates with your spouse, all of which take 15 minutes or less.  Listen for some fun and sweet ideas for connecting with your person!

These ideas are not new but they are a good reminder that you don’t need to spend a lot of money or time to stay in touch. The ideas include asking a simple question: “how are you?” but really listening and finding out how your spouse is doing mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally. Going for a walk and really focusing on each other, while getting some fresh air, too. Playing with a pet or playing a guessing game.

Another idea is to give each other a massage. Married people shouldn’t have to pay for a massuese! Massage your spouse’s back, neck or thighs, whichever is sore. This is a wonderful way to connect and is especially great for those whose love language is touch. Touch does not always have to mean lovemaking!

Here is the episode. Please leave a comment or question below to let me know you listened.
