Motivation From Dashonia Marie

Day 4: I Will Not Be Moved — My Help Comes From the Lord

Day 4: I Will Not Be Moved — My Help Comes From the Lord
Day 4: I Will Not Be Moved — My Help Comes From the Lord

Scripture Focus:
“I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:1–2 (NIV)
Devotional Message:

Sis, it may look like you’re surrounded.
It may feel like you’re sinking.
Everything around you might be screaming “Give up!”
But you’ve got to decide today:
“I will not be moved.”

Not by the lies.
Not by the system.
Not by betrayal.
Not by fear.
Not by what it looks like.
Not by what they said.
Not even by what you feel.

Because your help—your real, powerful, supernatural help—comes from the Lord.

The truth is, we live in a world that tries to break women like us—strong, resilient, faith-filled women who are just trying to obey God. But even when the fire gets hotter, God gets closer. And even when the world turns against you, God stands for you.
Let me remind you of what God already promised:
  • He said “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” (Isaiah 54:17)
  • He said “Who the Son sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36)
  • He said “I will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies.” (Psalm 23:5)
  • He said “I will enlarge your territory and keep you from harm.” (1 Chronicles 4:10)
  • He said “When you pass through the fire, you shall not be burned.” (Isaiah 43:2)

So even if the situation looks bad—God’s goodness is better.

Even if they’re slandering your name—God is writing a new story.

Even if the storm is raging—God is still in control.

Don’t you dare lower your eyes. Don’t you stop believing.
Look up. Your help is coming.

Challenge for Today:

Write this declaration and speak it out loud:

“I will not be shaken. I will not be moved. I lift my eyes to the hills because my help is coming. I may be in the fire, but I will not be consumed. God is with me, and His promises are my anchor.”

Then write out three promises from God’s Word that you will stand on this week. Post them where you can see them daily.

Affirmation for Today:
“I don’t care what it looks like—my help comes from the Lord. I am not defined by this situation. I am defined by the promises of God. I will not be shaken, I will not be moved. I walk in freedom, favor, and faith.”

No Weapon Formed Shall Prosper

No Weapon Formed Shall Prosper
No Weapon Formed Shall Prosper

Scripture Focus: Isaiah 54:17 (NLT)

“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

August 7, 2025

There’s something about being a woman of faith that automatically makes you a target. Not because you’re weak, but because you’re powerful. Because you carry light. Because you’ve survived more than most people could ever understand — and you’re still standing.

But standing doesn’t always come easy.

Some days, it feels like the weapons the enemy formed are hitting back-to-back: false accusations, judgmental eyes, betrayal from people you trusted, broken systems meant to protect you but instead trying to destroy you. If you’ve ever been lied on, misused, talked about, or wrongly attacked — this word is for YOU.

Let me say this loud and clear: No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

God never said the weapons wouldn’t form.
He never said people wouldn’t rise up against you.
He never said the enemy wouldn’t come for your peace, your name, your freedom, your purpose.

But what God did say is that the weapons won’t win. They might come close. They might shake you. They might make you cry, tremble, or question why this is happening — but they will NOT prosper.

Sis, Hear Me: The Attacks Are Proof of the Anointing

You are not under attack because you’re doing something wrong — you’re under attack because you’re doing something RIGHT. Because the enemy knows if you ever fully rise into who God has called you to be, hell’s agenda against women like you will crumble.

You’ve been through fire.
You’ve been misunderstood.
You’ve been the topic of conversations by people who never took the time to know your heart.
And yet — here you are.

Still loving.
Still standing.
Still believing.
Still becoming.

That is the power of God’s protection in your life.
Focus on God — Not the Weapon

When the weapons form, it’s easy to start fighting back in your flesh. You want to defend your name. You want to clear your image. You want to speak up and make it right. But the Spirit of God says:

“The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” — Exodus 14:14

Don’t waste energy swinging at shadows. The weapon may form in courtrooms, in text messages, in whispers behind your back — but it will fail. God is your Defender, and He never loses a case. He doesn’t need evidence because He knows the truth. He sees the motives. He hears the lies. And He has the final say.

To the Woman Who Feels Attacked Right Now…

Hold your head high.
Wipe your tears.
Straighten your crown.
And declare with boldness:

“I am not afraid of the weapon, because my God already promised — it will not prosper.”

You are a woman of resilience. You are covered. You are chosen. And your vindication will not come from man — it will come from the Lord. Trust Him to finish what He started.

Prayer for Today

Father, I thank You that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I thank You that even when I feel surrounded by battles and lies, You stand with me. You defend me. You protect me. Teach me to keep my eyes on You and not on the attacks. Help me trust that You are working behind the scenes and that I will come out of this stronger, refined, and victorious. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Affirmation of the Day:

“Weapons may form, but they won’t win — because God is fighting for me.”

God Is My Defender

God Is My Defender
Day 2: God Is My Defender

Scripture:
“The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” — Exodus 14:14 (NLT)

Devotional Message:

Sisters, sometimes life will back you into a corner where you feel like you must defend yourself with every ounce of strength you have. People will talk about you. Lies will spread. Accusations will rise up, and your first instinct is to cry out, “That’s not true! That’s not who I am!”

I know that feeling well. I have sat in places where my character was torn apart by false accusations. I have felt the sting of being labeled a criminal for things I did not do. I have cried out to God asking, “Lord, why won’t they see the truth?”

But then I hear His whisper: “The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

This scripture takes us back to when Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt. They stood at the edge of the Red Sea, trapped between the water and Pharaoh’s army. Fear consumed them, and they panicked. But Moses reminded them that they didn’t have to fight — God Himself was about to move on their behalf. And He did. He split the sea, making a way where there was no way.

That same God is fighting for you right now. You don’t need to exhaust yourself trying to convince the world of your innocence. You don’t need to waste your energy chasing every lie. God sees. God knows. And God will make sure the truth comes out.

It’s hard, I know. It’s hard to sit quietly when everything in you wants to shout. It’s hard to hold your peace when the enemy’s lies are loud. But here’s what I’ve learned: the quietest seasons are often the ones where God does His loudest work.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What situation in your life right now makes you feel like you have to fight for yourself?
  2. How can you release that battle to God today?
  3. What do you need to surrender so God can step in and defend you?

Challenge:

Today, take five minutes to sit in silence with God. As you sit, picture yourself laying your battle at His feet. Whisper:
“Lord, I trust You to fight for me. I will not be moved by lies or fear.”

Closing Prayer:

Father, thank You for being my Defender. When lies rise against me, help me to trust that You see the truth. Give me the strength to stay calm when everything in me wants to fight back. Remind me that no enemy can stand against You, and my victory is already secure in Your hands. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Affirmation for Today:

“I do not need to fight alone. The Lord Himself is my Defender, and my victory is secure.”

Faith In The Fire

Faith In The Fire
Day 1: Faith in the Fire

Scripture:
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)

Devotional Message:
Sisters, let’s be honest — none of us signed up for the fires of life. We didn’t choose betrayal, false accusations, heartbreak, or trials that leave us gasping for air. But they came anyway. And sometimes, the fire feels so hot and the waters so deep that you wonder if you’ll make it out alive.

I know that place all too well. I know the heaviness of waking up to harassment that doesn’t stop, of hearing false allegations whispered and shouted as if they were truth, of feeling the weight of being judged by lies instead of who I truly am. There were days I thought, “Lord, I cannot take one more hit.”

But God’s Word reminds us of something powerful in Isaiah 43:2. Notice it doesn’t say if you go through deep waters, it says when. Trials are not optional — they are guaranteed. But here’s the promise: when you go through them, you will not go alone, and you will not be destroyed.

Let that sink in: “I will be with you.” Not watching from a distance. Not sending someone else in your place. God Himself steps into the fire with you. Just as He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when the flames roared seven times hotter, He is with you now. That fire may be surrounding you, but it cannot consume you because the presence of God shields you. That river may be rushing, but you will not drown because His hand is holding you above the waves.

Maybe your fire looks like a broken relationship.
Maybe it’s the sting of being lied on or misunderstood.
Maybe it’s depression that weighs you down or fear that wakes you in the night.
Whatever your fire looks like, hear me clearly: This fire will not consume you.

God is using the very flames meant to destroy you to refine you — to burn away fear, shame, and lies, and to make you stronger than you’ve ever been. What the enemy created to break you, God is using to build you.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What fire are you walking through right now? Be specific.
  2. How can you remind yourself daily that God is with you in the middle of it?
  3. What lie has the enemy told you about your fire that you need to replace with God’s truth today?

Challenge:

Today, write down the fiery trial you are facing. Speak out loud over it:
“This fire will not consume me. I will not drown. I will come out stronger, because God is with me.”

Closing Prayer:

Father, I thank You that no fire I face will consume me and no river will drown me. Thank You for walking into every trial with me and for holding me up when I feel like I am sinking. Replace my fear with faith. Help me trust that what the enemy meant for harm, You are already turning for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Affirmation for Today:
“I am not alone in the fire. God is with me, and this trial will not consume me — it will strengthen me.”

Trials and Tribulations: Trusting God When the World Turns Against You

Trials and Tribulations: Trusting God When the World Turns Against You
Trials and Tribulations: Trusting God When the World Turns Against You

Encouraging Her Resilience Women’s Devotional

Scripture Focus

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.”
— 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NLT)

Devotional Message

Sisters, let’s be real — life will not always treat you fairly. There will be moments when you are falsely accused, when people judge your character without knowing your heart, when systems rise up against you, and when it feels like the enemy has unleashed everything in hell to destroy you. I know this because I’ve lived it.

I know what it feels like to be painted as something I am not. I know the sting of false allegations, the fear of waking up to harassment, the crushing weight of being judged for lies instead of truth. I know the nights when sleep won’t come because anxiety chokes you and fear grips your heart. I know the tears that fall when you’ve done everything right, yet people twist it into something wrong.

But I also know this: what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn for good (Genesis 50:20).

When I cared for Yasuhiro, I gave my heart and soul. I trained him daily, encouraged him to walk again, restored his dignity, and reminded him that his life still mattered. I secured a home for him, fully furnished with every belonging he asked for — a sanctuary where he could live in peace. Yet, instead of honoring the truth, lies rose up against me. The system stripped him away, called me a criminal, and tried to bury the work God had done through me.

Maybe you’ve been there too. Maybe you’ve been lied on. Maybe people have accused you of things you never did. Maybe the system told you that you weren’t enough, or life knocked you down so hard you didn’t think you’d ever get back up.

Here’s the truth you need to hold onto: your faith is your anchor.

When false allegations come, don’t let them define you. Let God defend you. When people whisper lies, let God speak the truth. When the storm rages, hold on to the Rock that cannot be moved. The same God who allowed Joseph to be falsely accused but later elevated him to power is the same God working behind the scenes in your life. The same God who allowed Daniel to be thrown into the lions’ den but kept him unharmed is the same God surrounding you.

How to Stand Firm When the Enemy Attacks
  1. Stay Grounded in God’s Word
The enemy will try to shake your faith, but Scripture is your weapon. When lies rise up, speak the truth of God: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
  1. Surrender the Battle to the Lord
You don’t have to prove yourself to everyone. Let God fight for you. Exodus 14:14 reminds us, “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
  1. Guard Your Heart
Refuse to let bitterness, anger, or revenge take root. The enemy wants you to lash out, but God calls you to rise above. Trust Him to vindicate you.
  1. Remember Who You Are
You are not defined by lies or by your past. You are a daughter of the King. When people accuse, remind yourself of Romans 8:31: “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”

A Word of Encouragement

My sisters, when you face trials and tribulations, you are not alone. You may feel misunderstood, targeted, or abandoned, but heaven is standing with you. Every tear you cry, God counts. Every sleepless night, He sees. Every false word spoken against you, He hears. And He promises to turn it all for your good.

Hold on. Don’t give up. Keep the faith. What the enemy is using to try and break you, God is using to build you. Trust Him. Surrender to Him. And watch Him transform the very pain meant to destroy you into the testimony that sets you free.

Closing Prayer
Father, I thank You for being my defender when the world comes against me. When false accusations rise, let me trust You as my shield. Strengthen my heart when I feel weak, and remind me that You alone are in control. Help me to surrender every trial into Your hands, knowing that You will bring good out of what the enemy meant for harm. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Affirmation for Today
“I will not be shaken by lies or false accusations. God is my defender, my strength, and my refuge. What the enemy meant for evil, my God is turning for my good.”
